doughnuts, anyone????

hurm...

gramps wants me to make doughnuts for him,

but sadly i couldn't send it to UKMKK..USMKK (sowie gramps)

its so easy to make doughnuts these days

as the world gettin modern,

evrything is simple n available..

wat u need is a doughnut mix dat u can easily find at the bakery shops near u..

follow the recipe,

fried it..

then,

walla~~

its vry easy to decorate it to make it look like d ones like big apples or Krusty Kreme, etc..

u need to be creative, k?

for the glaze, u only need:-

1/3 cup butter

2 cups powdered sugar (icing sugar)

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

4-6 tablespoons hot water

lemon juice (optional)

how??

1-heat butter till it melt n remove from heat

2-stir in icing sugar n vanilla extract

3-stir in water, 1 spoon at time till desired consistency

or if u dont want glaze on top,

u can just try chocolate frosting..

its almost the same like doin d glze,

1-heat butter n choc at low heat till melt n remove from heat

step 2 & 3 is just d same ^^

u can always use the white choc, but i feel like its gonna be too sweet later..
if u wanna put the fillings inside,
if u have the piping tips (i dunno wat its called), it would be better
cuz it would be easier to 'shoot' d filling inside ^^
